There are three marks that are easily made in word processors but sometimes on a website they are a little tricky. Here is some info on each and some keyboard shortcuts to help you out.

The Registered Trademark symbol (®) is used to indicate a trademark that has been officially registered, providing legal protection and notice to others. The Trademark symbol (™) is used to assert ownership over a mark, whether it is registered or not, and serves as a notice that the mark is being used as a trademark. The Copyright symbol (©) is used to indicate that a work is protected by copyright, asserting the author's rights and warning against unauthorized use.
Registered Trademark (®): The Registered Trademark symbol, denoted by the letter "R" enclosed within a circle, is used to indicate that a trademark has been officially registered with the appropriate government agency. This symbol is used to provide notice to others that the trademark is protected by law and that its unauthorized use may result in legal consequences. It is typically used for goods or services that are associated with a specific brand or company. To use the Registered Trademark symbol, a trademark owner must have successfully completed the registration process and received an official registration certificate from the relevant authority.
Trademark (™): The Trademark symbol, denoted by the letters "TM," is used to indicate that a word, phrase, logo, design, or symbol is being used as a trademark, regardless of whether it is registered or not. Unlike the Registered Trademark symbol, the Trademark symbol does not require formal registration and can be used freely by individuals or businesses to assert their claim of ownership over a particular mark. It serves as a notice to the public that the mark is being used as a trademark and helps establish the user's rights to the mark.
Copyright (©): The Copyright symbol, denoted by the letter "C" enclosed within a circle, is used to indicate that a work is protected by copyright. Copyright grants the creator of an original work, such as literary, artistic, musical, or architectural creations, the exclusive rights to reproduce, distribute, display, or perform the work. The Copyright symbol is used to provide notice that the work is protected by copyright law, even though registration is not required for copyright protection in many countries. It is commonly used on books, music albums, websites, and other creative works to signify the author's ownership and to warn against unauthorized copying or use.
